Description: (a big dinosaur/ape shaped Troll with three thickly clawed fingers on each paw. It has a long tail and face, and a shell of stone stuck to its back and donkey like ears. It is covered in dense shaggy hair except for its face and paw.)

I don't like the typical description of Trolls except for a few features that make them obviously trolls. Dense and stinky fur with rocks stuck in it, big honkin claws and tusks, yaknow, the works. I decided to make their faces and bodies more dinosaur shaped and the nose thing is more like a growth. Lots of reasons to change what trolls look like, and I had to change their vibe. I hope y'all enjoy what I've done to Trolls!

All trolls have an incredible sense of smell due to their evolutionary focus on their distinctive snout. It is said that Trolls can eat practically anything, and will travel for miles to establish their new territory closest to their next meal.

The misconception that they turn to stone in the daylight is a result of their nocturnal hunting patterns. During the day they contort their limbs and tail under their shell made of stone. As a Troll ages, more and more stone is added to their back for protection from larger threats

Trolls are technically descended from Elementals of earth and water, and can reproduce asexually in a similar manner to Primordials. (soon) When a Troll feels the need to reproduce (which is rarely, as a long lived, solitary species.) It will grow an odd growth on its neck. After some time that growth becomes another head, and once the second head begins acting independently of the first, the Trolls will separate from each other and regenerate what was lost. These origins are usually violent in nature, as Trolls are incredibly territorial, and have little object permanence for anything it could possibly eat.

Trolls have enough intelligence to know they don't like anything other than what they are currently eating and their collection of stones. They speak in an ancient dialect called Primoch: mostly to themselves about what they want. The root of this language would evolve and be replaced by what is now known as Elementa.

Regarded as monstrous by many, considered a reminder of the darkest days of ages past by the few that remember. Trolls have menaced most of the world with their destructive habits, ravenous and undiscerning appetites, and individualistic natures; and with their impressive healing factor it is likely they will continue for ages to come.
